Rulon Gardner To Pro Wrestling?, New NWA Champion

— 2000 Olympics gold medal winner Rulon Gardner recently spoke about possibly going into pro wrestling. Here is what he had to say…

“I’ve been talking to professional wrestling about maybe doing that. I’ve been throwing that around.”

Gardner, age 40, is looking to get on the Greco-Roman Wrestling team for the Olympics. At one point he was 474 pounds, and has dropped down to 290, but needs to make 264 for the trials next week.
