— As previously reported, the post Extreme Rules edition of WWE Monday Night RAW did a 3.33 (3.3) cable rating, with 4.88 million viewers, up from a 3.07 for the three-hour episode last week (and a 3.31 for the regular two-hour slot). It’s the third-highest rating of the year, behind only the night after the Royal Rumble and the night after WrestleMania. It was also the second-most viewed of the year, behind only the night after WrestleMania. The show ranked #1 among cable TV shows for the night in overall viewers, though it was #2 in key adult demos behind the NBA. The first hour of Raw ranked #1 among teen males.

— As noted earlier, Brock Lesnar’s backstage tantrum is at least partially a work on the locker room so as to convince people that Cena winning was the right move. Lesnar was said to be upset about the finish, but the word is that “some, if not most” of the situation was not legitimate. WWE reportedly tried to leak word on Monday that Brock had quite the company so that when he showed up on Raw, people would be surprised. However, it was already out that Lesnar was at the arena and going to be on Raw so that failed.
