WWE.com has posted a new “Where Are They Now?” that looks back at the team of Kaientai: Taka Michinoku and Sho Funaki.
Taka and Funaki are still involved in the wrestling business. Taka runs the Kaientai Dojo, a wrestling school and promotion in Japan. He still works a full wrestling schedule in Japan and spends time with his wife. Funaki lives in San Antonio, Texas and runs the Funaki Dojo wrestling school. He hopes to train young wrestlers so they can make it to WWE. Outside of school, he spends time with his family and is a big Green Bay Packers fan.
Meanwhile, JBL posted this photo on Twitter of himself and Funaki backstage at last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings in San Antonio, Texas.
