— NorthJersey.com has an article about last night’s WWE anti-bullying rally, which featured Brodus Clay, Tensai and more.
Clay said: “Basically we’re here today for the ‘Be A Star’ anti-bullying program, which is anti-bullying acceptance. I think it’s important as [the kids] see us on TV every week that we go on and get back to real issues, real things that are important to kids today. A lot of times when you’re bullied in life you feel isolated so it’s nice of them to use their voice and to have people there that can really help [them].”
Naomi added: “[This program] helps bring awareness to bullying. It happens all the time and sometimes [the kids] are too scared [or] too nervous to say something. It’s us as WWE Superstars and Divas to come here and be able to promote that and [show them] you know what it’s ok to stand up to one-another [and tell] a grown up.”
Tensai told a story at the event about how a bully contacted him twenty years later to apologize for his behavior.
