CBS TV has hired former WWE Senior Vice President of Creative and Development Eric Pankowski. Pankowski, who ran WWE creative from October 2012 until March, will develop first-run syndicated programming and oversee current shows and, among other things, handle Arsenio Hall’s new late-night talk show this fall.
As previously reported, Pankowski had issues in dealing with WWE talent and was removed by Vince McMahon after he booked The Undertaker’s opponent at WrestleMania as being decided in a Fatal Four-Way on RAW instead of starting the CM Punk/Undertaker feud in a more personal direction.
