Dolph Ziggler Concussion Update, Axel’s Title Win, Shield

WWE.com posted several backstage interviews following the WWE Payback pay-per-view. Here are some highlights:

* WWE doctor Michael Sampson says Dolph Ziggler was checked out after his match and will continue to be monitored for post-concussion symptoms. WWE.com says Ziggler’s in-ring status is “up in the air” until they get more results from Ziggler’s latest round of testing.

* Paul Heyman says Curtis Axel had the “perfect” victory at WWE Payback and now has a bunch of “offers” on the table.

* Kane promised that Dean Ambrose “won’t escape him again”.

* The Shield did another one of their hand-held videos and mocked their opponents. They said they dominated yet another WWE pay-per-view and Ambrose said Rollins and Reigns are “the best tag team walking today.” Ambrose went on to say that The Shield is the “new generation” of WWE.
