— We can now confirm that TNA has officially retired the Knockouts tag-team titles. The feeling is that the company just doesn’t have enough Knockouts to make the titles mean much. Also, they are trying to take the Knockouts roster and build them around the singles title. Also, with the company running Gutcheck, Open Fight Night and the Bound For Glory Series, the feeling was that something needed to be dropped.
— Following Abyss winning the belt at Slammiversary, the TV title is essentially gone at this point. The company feels that they can re-introduce the titles again if they need/want to.
