As most of you saw at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view, Randy Orton is the new WWE Champion after he came out and cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Daniel Bryan. Moments earlier, Daniel Bryan had defeated John Cena to win the title.
During Daniel Bryan’s celebration after defeating John Cena, Randy Orton’s music hit and he teased cashing in. As Orton walked to the ring and then headed back up the ramp, Triple H hit a pedigree on Daniel Bryan and Orton turned around, came back to the ring, and cashed in. He covered Bryan after the pedigree and Triple H counted the 1,2,3. As the show ended, Triple H and Randy Orton smiled and celebrated together.
They will obviously follow this angle up on Monday’s RAW.
