— According to sources, WWE has turned down the Bruno Sammartino movie being developed by Scott Rosenfeldt. Rosenfeldt was hopeful of reaching a deal with WWE with Sammartino recently entering the Hall of Fame this year. In an update on this, the belief is that it came down to financials as to why WWE backed away from the project.
— It was confirmed at last night’s 8/31 WWE Supershow event that the Survivor Series pay-per-view would be taking place in Boston, Massachusetts at the TD Garden on 11/24. The location had largely been confirmed outside of WWE for some time now, but Saturday night was the first time that WWE publicly confirmed the date.
