Following the rumors that he would be taking time off after the Battleground pay-per-view due to his contract expiring WWE.com has posted an article that speculates Rob Van Dam will be taking time off following last night’s loss to Alberto Del Rio. The article notes the following…
“Now, with the golden losses beginning to pile up, a source has indicated that the ECW Original is considering taking some time off.
While WWE.com cannot confirm or deny this rumor at this time, it will be interesting to see whether further details will come to light tonight on Monday Night Raw.
We’re told Van Dam is expected to finish up his current run with WWE at this week’s TV tapings. Van Dam’s deal reportedly calls for him to work in 90-day intervals, so he is finishing the first cycle that began at Money in the Bank this week.
