WWE Covers Rey Mysterio’s Return, RVD News, More

— The official WWE website recently ran an article on Rey Mysterio’s return. The website covered Mysterio’s appearance at the WWE live event in Tupelo, Mississippi on Sunday night, where he helped R-Truth during a post-match attack from World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio. The article did not, however, cover the fact that Mysterio worked an actual match at the WWE live event in Mexico during the week.

— Verne Gagne was inducted along with eleven other individuals into the Robbinsdale High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame last night. Gagne was unable to attend to due health issues but Greg and Donna Gagne were there and Greg accepted the award on his behalf. The two stayed for the full ceremony and were reportedly quite appreciative of the honor and sentiments expressed toward Verne. You can watch the induction here, with Gagne’s induction starting at about forty-nine minutes.

— WWE Superstar Rob Van Dam will be appearing this weekend at the 10th annual Ringside Fest. Van Dam was reportedly booked for the appearance through WWE, which should put an end to any rumors that he is no longer under a contract to WWE.

Also appearing at Ringside Fest this weekend will be fellow WWE Superstars Daniel Bryan, AJ Lee and Kaitlyn.
