The weekend TNA shows in New York over the weekend did very well. The show in Westbury, Long Island brought in between 2,000 and 2,300 fans, which is the best the building has had for TNA in quite some time.
TNA is happy with that number since WWE ran Madison Square Garden a few days earlier. The #OldSchool pay-per-view taping in Poughkeepsie, New York was close to a sellout. A lot of that is credited to local promotion thanks to the Tommy Dreamer/House of Hardcore crossover.
Dreamer has not been offered and has not signed a deal with TNA. He was originally booked for the #OldSchool pay-per-view and was then added to the Hardcore Justice pay-per-view, which he said he didn’t know about until he read about it on the internet. He was added to the Philadelphia and Long Island shows as a surprise, but those are currently his only dates with the company.
