As previously reported, it was expected within WWE that Batista would be done for the time being after this week’s TV tapings after he had turned down a storyline that would see him losing at Payback before he took time off to promote Guardians of the Galaxy. That may not be the case anymore.
According to sources, several people backstage at Extreme Rules say that Batista was suggesting that he will stay on with the company through Payback after all. Obviously, we’ll know more following Extreme Rules and RAW to see what direction they’re taking creatively.
