Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns is still the most-talked about match for WrestleMania 31 in California. Roman Reigns was selected to fight Lesnar either just before or after WrestleMania 30. It was previously reported that Triple H and Vince McMahon couldn’t agree on a choice between Reigns and The Rock.
Meanwhile, Lesnar was not originally planned to face John Cena at SummerSlam and Night of Champions. His original opponent was Daniel Bryan, who he would beat to “bring him back to reality.” WWE wanted Lesnar to “break the hearts” of the fans, but Bryan’s injury caused Cena to take his place.
