WWE RAW vs. The Emmy Awards & The Return Of The NFL

— On August 25th, WWE RAW, which will take place in Anaheim, California, will be going head-to-head with the Emmy Awards on NBC. Despite the long history of WWE’s weekly show, this will be the first time that RAW has ever faced competition from The Emmy’s.

— Speaking of RAW competition, the show will begin going head-to-head against the NFL’s weekly Monday Night Football games starting August 18th, which is the post-SummerSlam edition of the show. The August 18th NFL game is a pre-season game and traditionally the preseason games don’t hurt RAW. It’s historically about a nine or ten percent drop during the regular season.
