WWE has reportedly had discussions of Hideo Itami and Finn Balor having a run as NXT tag team champions. The two wrestlers would later split off for singles runs in WWE NXT.

Finn Balor reportedly does not want to spend too much time in NXT. That was apparently one of the conversations he had with WWE officials before he signed with the company.
