A Live Report From Last Night’s ROH Final Battle PPV

I was at Final Battle last night and I thought I would mention what happened before and after the actual PPV.

There was a tag team match – Brutal Burgers vs. BJ Whitmer & Mikey Webb (not sure if it was a dark match or maybe taped for TV) Before the match BJ cut a promo and said that Webb had a chance to be part of the Decade. Brutal Burgers got the win after Webb got pinned. After the match Whitmer told Webb that he failed.

Then Nigel McGuiness came out and presented an Lifetime Achievement award to Cary Silkin. Cary got in the ring and gave a nice speech. The whole locker room came out, surrounding the ring and applauding Cary (the fans applauded him too). Great moment. Not sure if it was taped for TV or just for the live crowd.

I really enjoyed the 6 man tag. All 6 guys really worked their asses off. The tag title match was great also.

After the show went off the air medics checked on Adam Cole. He was in the ring for awhile being tended to before being helped to the back. There were “Adam Cole” and “Thank you Adam” chants as well.

Overall it was a really enjoyable show to see live.
