During an interview in Puerto Rico, Alberto El Patron mentioned that he’s received offers for MMA promotions like the UFC and Bellator. The UFC have denied they offered him a deal.
The Glory kickboxing promotion was also mentioned. While it airs on Spike TV with Bellator, it was not a joint offer that would have Alberto fighting for both. Other companies made offers, including a television group, but he said he won’t fight unless he can make “significant money” in MMA. This would mean that he would make more in MMA than in wrestling.
