— The iMPACT! Wrestling website has updated its alumni section with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and former TNA star Rob Terry. Jackson recently left Bellator MMA and re-signed with the UFC.
In addition, Bellator MMA fighter Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal is still listed on TNA’s regular roster, despite never having worked a single match for the promotion. With TNA moving to Destination America from Spike TV, it appears Viacom will be even less invested in Bellator fighters appearing in TNA. King Mo has not made a single appearance on Impact since June 2014.
— As previously reported, TNA has announced that they have re-signed Kurt Angle. This is expected to be Angle’s final run as an in-ring wrestler as we reported earlier today. It had been reported when he was talking with both WWE and TNA that he was considering this contract to be his last run as an active wrestler. People close to him are saying that this is still the case and “this looks to be it.” Of course, it’s Kurt so who knows! One friend of Kurt joked to us that he expects to see Kurt wrestling “well into his 60’s.”
