WWE announced today that the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view did 141,000 PPV buys. 49,000 of those buys were domestic, while the other 92,000 buys came from overseas.
The 2014 Royal Rumble did 467,000 buys, but that event was held prior to the launch of the WWE Network.
No word as of this writing how many people watched the pay-per-view on the WWE Network. WWE doesn’t release those numbers.
