The reason WWE decided not to put “The Crippler” Ray Stevens into the Hall of Fame this year is because they are already inducting one deceased wrestler this year (Randy Savage).
The company simply didn’t want two deceased wrestlers to be inducted in the same class. Stevens is still expected to go into the WWE Hall of Fame but it won’t be this year.
