While there is still no specific date, venue or opponent for the UFC debut of former WWE Superstar CM Punk, signs that he is taking the transition into MMA seriously continue.
On this week’s edition of UFC Tonight on FOX Sports 1, it was revealed that Punk recently moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the site of the Roufusport gym where Punk trains, so that he can be there full-time to train in preparation for his MMA fighting debut.
It was also noted during the show that Roufusport head coach Duke Roufus “loves” Punk, and considers him a great student. It was also mentioned that Punk recently sparred five, full, hard rounds of action in the gym, so his actual progress as a trainee is coming along smoothly.
