Backstage Update – Sting Not At WWE SummerSlam?

Despite reports to the contrary, Sting may not be appearing at SummerSlam. Despite the rumors since just before Battleground that Sting will be appearing at the PPV, as of late Tuesday afternoon there were no plans to include him on the show.

Reports had suggested that Sting could team up with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose against the Wyatt Family, or that he may team with Stephen Amell against Stardust and Miz. Sting is set for the VIP Summerslam Experience in New York City, as has been confirmed by the company.
