According to sources, the decision to bring The Undertaker back for WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view was made a few weeks ago. The decision was made after Paul Heyman began to reference Lesnar breaking the streak during his promos on RAW.
‘Taker has been telling close friends that he “feels good” after “retiring” full-time from working all WWE live events and TV tapings. The Undertaker and his real-life wife, Michelle McCool, have a gym and full sized wrestling ring in their home that they often train in.
The match between Lesnar and Undertaker at SummerSlam will “play a part” in the storyline for one of WrestleMania’s top matches. Sting is also expected to be back in time for WWE SummerSlam but his storyline and match isn’t expected to involve ‘Taker as of now.
Also as previously reported, WWE has confirmed that The Undertaker is going on their October tour of Mexico. Taker will be at all three dates:
* Merida – Friday, October 16th
* Mexico City – Saturday, October 17th
* Monterrey – Sunday, October 18th
