Jesse Ventura: ‘I’d Be A Good VP For Bernie Sanders!’, More

In an interview with New York Daily News, Jesse Ventura said that he would run as Bernie Sanders’ vice-president if asked. He previously said he would run with Donald Trump last month. Here are highlights:

On if he would run with Bernie Sanders: “Would I run with Bernie? Sure, I’d give him consideration.”

On Donald Trump’s immigration policy: “I oppose Trump’s immigrant policy vehemently. If you want to make a trade, I’ll make a trade off. I’d build a wall on the Mexican border. But in order to not make it racist, you’d have to build one on the Canadian border too. If you want to make the country like East Berlin, Let’s make it East Berlin.”

On running with Donald Trump: “I’ve been friends with Donald for 25 years now and I respect him enough that if he did ask me, I’d give it consideration out of respect for him as a person and a friend.”
