Thursday night’s WWE SmackDown broadcast from Albany, New York saw its rating tick upward while the rating was steady. The episode brought in 2.132 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. The viewership was down about a quarter of a percent from last week’s 2.138 million, while the demo rating was up 3% from last week’s 0.58.
Both numbers were solid compared to previous weeks; last week’s slightly higher viewership aside, the viewership and demo rating were the best since the August 27th episode brought in 2.195 million pairs of eyes and a 0.65 demo rating. Smackdown ranked #3 for the night among cable originals, behind the NFL Network’s airing of Thursday night football (3.607 million viewers, 1.60 rating) and the post-game show that followed (1.204 million viewers, 0.62 demo rating).
