Here are some highlights from the latest update to the Q&A section of Jim Ross’ website:
On if he was disappointed by the lack of surprise entrants in the WWE Title Tournament: “I had no issues with the matches but I was honestly expecting more sizzle on the WWE Title Tourney. It did not overwhelm me and I hope that it gets more compelling.”
On WWE boosting crowd noise: “WWE has been sweetening the crowd noise for years on taped shows. It’s nothing new or novel in the entertainment business.”
On if he’d call Undertaker’s final match if Undertaker asked him to: “That decision isn’t Taker’s or HHH’s but simply Vince McMahon’s call to make. End of story.”
On Papa Shango’s gimmick: “The fact that you are asking about Papa Shango after all these years must mean that it worked to some degree. Very colorful persona.”
