James Storm took to Twitter on Monday evening to address a report stating that he would be returning to TNA at the iMPACT! Wrestling tapings this week in Bethlehem, PA, including the live debut broadcast on Pop TV on Tuesday night.
Storm, whose contract with TNA expired in June 2015, made two appearances for WWE NXT in his time away from the company. He had been with TNA since the beginning of the company in June 2002 and last worked an NXT taping in November.
Storm did confirm he would be meeting with TNA Tuesday afternoon before the TNA iMPACT!. He’s expected to sign a contract at that time as a verbal agreement has reportedly already been reached between the two sides.
Keep in mind this is the same guy who denied he was at the NXT TV tapings and wouldn’t be working for NXT …. only to later admit he was at the TV tapings and wound up working for them.
And I laugh. Hard to be flying on a plane when I've just finished up at the gym. #SuckIt #StillFreeAgent pic.twitter.com/GpmMEaCOJa
