Mick Foley posted the following on his Facebook, commenting on the retirement of Daniel Bryan…
#ThankYouDanielBryan
Daniel Bryan called it a career last night on #RAW – but what a career it was. He put everything he had into everything he did, and changed the wrestling world forever. As good as he was wherever he went – from Independents, to Japan, to ROH, Bryan Danielson just did not strike many (including me) as a WWE guy. But, when given the chance, he showed that he could not only be A #WWE guy, but THE WWE guy, and by the time he was done, had been part of not only some of the great matches in company history, but some of its most memorable, funniest non-wrestling segments as well. His touching farewell speech on last night’s RAW may have been the most memorable of all.
