Tammy Sytch’s statement that HISTORY was incorrectly using her name for the synopsis of this week’s episode of Pawn Stars was true. The Hall of Fame ring that was brought in on Wednesday night’s episode was Paul Bearer’s. The ring was brought in by a friend of the family and $4,000 was offered, but the man declined.
The cable description for the show was changed earlier on Wednesday to note that Sytch was not appearing but that her ring was still being featured, although it didn’t. There was a strange edit to the segment and official previews said Sytch came into the store with the ring.
When Sytch found out about it earlier in the week, she took to Twitter and slammed HISTORY for using her to promote the show, saying she still has the ring and never planned on selling it.
