Here are some more details for Pat Patterson’s upcoming autobiography Accepted: How the First Gay Superstar Changed WWE. The book will be released on August 1 through ECW Press. Bertrand Hebert helped Patterson write the book.

Peppered with 50 photographs, Accepted tells one of the most unlikely stories of a revolutionary talent, pioneer, and creative savant. Still active in WWE today, Patterson delivers his no-holds barred story from unknown to WWE luminary.
Pat Patterson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996 and currently works as a creative consultant for WWE. Bertrand Hebert is the co-author of Mad Dogs, Midgets and Screw Jobs. Vince McMahon is the Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer of WWE. A third generation promoter, McMahon purchased the company from his father in 1982. Under his leadership, WWE has developed into one of the most popular and sophisticated forms of global entertainment today.
There will also be a two-page foreword by Vince McMahon. Patterson dedicates the book to Louie Dondero. He wrote: “You made me the man I was, and you gave me the opportunity to be the man I am. Thanks for being there. I will always love you, my friend.“
