Backstage Report – More WWE Releases Coming After Extreme Rules

According to sources, a second round of WWE releases are expected to be announced after Extreme Rules. The pay-per-vioew takes place on May 22nd, and with WWE announcing releases on Fridays as a rule it is likely they will take place as soon as May 27th.

There are rumors of “another surprising release” as well as a female superstar and a name who is considered a top star. The releases are rumored to be getting done in order to clear the way for new signings.
