Report – Hiroshi Tanahashi Taking Some Time Off

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Hiroshi Tanahashi will be taking time off to heal up from nagging injuries. New Japan ran an injury angle on night one of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament, where Kenny Omega and Bullet Club attacked Tanahashi and smashed his arm between a ladder several times. Tanahashi has been pulled from the remainder of his appearances on the BOTSJ tour.

Tanahashi is still scheduled to challenge Omega for his IWGP Intercontinental title at the Dominion show on June 19th.
