Japanese WWE fans were reportedly disappointed by the announced matches for WWE’s upcoming tour of the country, even though both shows sold out immediately.
It was believed that Shinsuke Nakamura, who will fight Bray Wyatt, will be featured in a single match in the main event. Instead, Roman Reigns will defend in a triple threat match. Nakamura has the same opponent both nights and was booked as the fourth highest match on the card.
Japanese wrestling markets usually don’t like triple threat title matches and the fact that it happens on two nights in a row doesn’t help. Local fans reportedly feel that WWE is booking for themselves, not the Japanese audience.
