Johnny Gargano vs. Cody Rhodes Set For EVOLVE Event + Dusty Rhodes’ Passing Anniversary

— Today marks one year since the passing of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, the father of WWE Superstar Goldust and former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes. He passed away on June 11, 2015 at the age of 69 in Orlando, Florida.

— Johnny Gargano revealed on his Twitter account that he will face former WWE Superstar, Cody Rhodes, when Rhodes makes his EVOLVE debut on August 19 in Joppa, Maryland. EVOLVE Wrestling also announced the match at last night’s EVOLVE 62 event. The event where the match will take place will be EVOLVE 66. You can check out Gargano’s tweet below.
