Shelton Benjamin posted on Twitter earlier today that while undergoing testing with WWE, it was discovered that he would require surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, and that he would not be returning to Smackdown “at this time,” as had been originally planned and hyped.
I am both disappointed & sadden to announce that due to a serious injury to my shoulder I will not be returning to @WWE at this time.
