Jerry Lawler’s WWE Status + New NXT Live Events Announced

— After receiving anonymous emails claiming that Jerry Lawler had been released by WWE, we reached out to WWE for clarification on Jerry Lawler’s Status. Here is WWE’s response…

“Jerry Lawler has a Legends agreement with WWE, however, he will no longer regularly appear on our pre-shows. He will continue to host special events, including WWE’s annual Hall of Fame celebration at WrestleMania.”

— Triple H has announced the first events for the 2017 NXT Road Trip tour. The tour will run through Indianapolis on January 12th, Louisville on January 13th and Nashville on January 14th:
