UPDATE: In an update on the AJ Styles’ injury reports coming out of Sunday night’s WWE TLC pay-per-view event, he did indeed suffer a minor ankle injury. It isn’t clear whether Styles’ scheduled match with James Ellsworth at SmackDown will be changed or if he will be able to compete at all. His status on live events/house shows is also unknown as of this moment.
ORIGINAL: As noted earlier, AJ Styles may have been injured at Sunday night’s WWE TLC pay-per-view event. Styles celebrated until the pay-per-view went off the air. After the show ended, Styles fell to the mat and a trainer came running down to check on him. Another trainer was checking on Ambrose outside of the ring. Styles was talking to the trainer about his right foot and was seen trying to move it around. Styles walked out on his own but was noticeably limping as fans gave him a standing ovation.
WWE has not made any official confirmation or comment on the rumors.
