Paige Injury Update + Alberto El Patron Update

Paige posted on Twitter and Instagram that she was getting a checkup on her neck, which she had surgery on back in October.

Paige’s last WWE match was on June 27 (Paige & Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte and Dana on Raw), before the WWE draft. Paige was drafted to Raw, but never wrestled after the brand split because of her neck injury. She was later suspended on two separate occasions for violating WWE’s wellness policy. In October, she underwent surgery for her neck issues.

The latest word was that she was scheduled to return to WWE this summer and according to PWInsider, she is still on schedule to return around then.

Alberto El Patron

A couple of days ago, Alberto El Patron went on a curse-filled rant about WWE on Periscope. In another Periscope video, he claimed that WWE recently contacted him to come back but he declined because he didn’t want to be there and was too happy not being in WWE.

According to PWInsider, that story is actually true and Alberto was contacted by WWE shortly before he signed with Impact Wrestling. It was apparently Vince McMahon’s idea to reach out to him.
