Asuka sort of reached 174-0 in NXT/WWE with a win Saturday night at an NXT house show in Dade City, FL against Bianca Blair. This technically beats Goldberg’s streak of 173-0 (though his actual streak was 155-0).
Asuka has 166 wins in NXT and 8 wins in WWE (at house shows). However, the 174 wins include multi-person and tag matches as wins, but only singles match losses (none) are counted, so it’s hard to say if it’s a “legit” 174-0. Asuka technically has 3 “losses” if you count multi-person matches (2 tag matches and a fatal 4 way), though she has never been pinned for a loss. Check out her wins/losses on ProFightDB.
Neither WWE or Asuka have acknowledged the 174th win, so it seems like they might want to wait until later (maybe at NXT TakeOver) to make a bigger deal about it, if they plan on mentioning it at all. WWE has previously only really mentioned it in a WWE.com article about Goldberg congratulating Asuka on 149 wins.
Congratulations @WWEAsuka on your 149th win in a row! #whosnext 次はどなたですか
