Impact Wrestling News: Live Event Scheduled, Adonis Injury, More

Impact Wrestling announced their first live event under Anthem’s ownership will occur on August 5th in Staten Island, New York at Richmond County Ball Park, the home of the Staten Island Yankees minor league baseball team. Tickets for the event will go on sale on June 9th with Impact champion Bobby Lashley, GFW champion Alberto El Patron, EC3, and James Storm announced for the show.

Impact Wrestling’s Indian TV partner Sony Six is currently reported to have been very pleased with the company’s recent tour of India.

Chris Adonis suffered an injury requiring a visit to the hospital at Impact’s tapings in Mumbai, but no details on the injury itself was revealed, according to PWInsider. The injury didn’t appear to be serious due to Adonis being able to work the second night of tapings in India.
