The Reason Mae Young “Gave Birth” to a Hand Revealed

In an older issue of The Wrestling Observer from March 6th, 2000 Dave Meltzer discussed the reason Mae Young gave birth to a hand during her on-screen sexcapades with Mark Henry.

“At first I had no idea what this was – Luckily I do a radio show. Someone explained that hands were popular sex toys back in the 70’s and 80’s for women. I guess the idea was she was getting herself off in another decade – and it had been there for a while.”
