Alberto El Patron is no longer under investigation for battery in the airport incident with Paige earlier this month, Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting.
A rep for the Orlando Police Department said that it had been determined that Paige was the one who should be charged with battery, and Alberto is no longer a “suspect.”
The Orlando Police previously said:
“OPD detectives have found that probable cause exists to charge Saraya Bevis with Battery (Domestic Violence). Detectives have sent the information to the State Attorney’s Office for review and the SAO will determine whether to file charges in the case.”
Alberto is currently suspended by GFW, but that will likely be lifted now that he’s been “cleared.”
Paige has previously admitted that she threw a beer at Alberto and said that she was the one being held for battery charges at the airport because of that. She also said that Alberto “never touched [her].”
Just clearing up the airport situation. Just so there's no more elaborate versions of the story. Thanks for respecting our privacy. pic.twitter.com/iU6nZbZMar
