Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that former ROH Champion Adam Cole was spotted at Orlando International Airport heading to New York City with an NXT crew and other NXT wrestlers. NXT TakeOver will be in Brooklyn Saturday night.
Adam Cole officially signed with WWE recently and is expected to be part of NXT.
It seems likely that he’ll appear on the show in some capacity, but in the past, new arrivals to NXT have just been shown sitting in the crowd at ringside.
In the photo, Cole appears to be talking to WWE UK wrestlers Pete Dunne and Trent Seven, who are also rumored to be involved with NXT in some form this weekend (if not at TakeOver, possibly at the TV tapings usually done before the show). Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong are also in the photo.
