Molly Holly
Molly Holly gave an interview a few days ago denying that she would be at the Royal Rumble, saying that WWE hasn’t contacted her and she wasn’t in ring shape anyway, but according to PWInsider, she was booked right after the Royal Rumble match was originally announced a few weeks ago.
She also works as a trainer at a wrestling school in Minneapolis, “The Academy,” so she likely was already in decent ring shape.
Holly and Michelle McCool were actually the first two “former” names that WWE contacted.
Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler was originally planned to be the person to answer Bobby Roode’s US title open challenge on the kickoff show, according to PWInsider, but the plan was changed to have Ziggler enter at #30, while Mojo Rawley lost the match to Roode.
Ziggler is currently booked to be at SmackDown Live on Tuesday.
Jason Jordan
Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins dropped the tag team titles last night and Jason Jordan wasn’t really able to wrestle due to him still suffering from a back injury, according to Dave Meltzer.
WWE did an angle where Jordan’s head was knocked into the ring post and he was too dazed to do anything for the entire match. No word on how much more time he may miss because of the injury, but it has already been a few weeks now.
