As reported last week, WWE will be holding a 50 man Royal Rumble match on April 27 at the 62,000 seat King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
According to PWInsider, WWE plans on making the event a “major priority” after WrestleMania and will be attempting to get as many stars as possible there.
The Undertaker has been rumored as a possible name who may show up at the event in some capacity (though he might not be wrestling).
Another name is Chris Jericho. WWE has reportedly reached out to Jericho to appear at the show and all signs indicate that he will be there, according to PWInsider. No word on whether or not it would be a one time appearance or a more long term thing.
Chris Jericho’s final tour date of his current tour with Fozzy is April 8, which is WrestleMania Sunday.
There are rumors that WWE could air the show on the WWE Network, but that isn’t confirmed yet.
