WWE: Styles Returns to the Ring, Bray Wyatt Emerges, Owens/Zayn

AJ Styles Returns to the Ring

AJ Styles returned to the ring at a WWE house show in Trenton, NJ on Saturday night. Styles had been out with a mysterious injury and hadn’t wrestled since the March 13 SmackDown against Rusev.

He seemed fine at the Trenton show and wrestled in an 8-man tag match, teaming with The New Day against Rusev, Aiden English, Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin. Styles hit a Phenomenal Forearm on English for the win.

Bray Wyatt Emerges

Bray Wyatt was also at the Trenton house show. He came out to no theme music and called out Matt Hardy, who then came out and said a bunch of stuff about deleting his essence or whatever. They then wrestled a match, which Hardy won with a Twist of Fate.

It’s been speculated that Wyatt will have some sort of character change after Matt Hardy defeated him in the Ultimate Deletion and threw him into the “Lake of Reincarnation.”

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens also appeared at the Trenton house show, storming the ring and ranting about Daniel Bryan for “firing” them.
