WWE is currently not planning for a rumored feud or match between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The Observer’s Dave Meltzer speculated that Lesnar’s current deal likely does not have enough dates remaining for another feud to be possible. He did speculate that if WWE was considering a second match for Lesnar after Reigns, it would make more sense for Braun Strowman to be Lesnar’s opponent and go over on him rather than an “over 40” star like Lashley.
Rumors regarding this potential match originated last November during an episode of the Main Event Radio podcast show with Bobby Lashley as the guest. During the interview, Lashley teased that his time with Impact Wrestling was nearing its end and he was considering the idea of going back to the WWE in order to have a potential dream match with Brock Lesnar.
