WWE Reportedly Paid Women for Saudi Show
According to PWInsider, WWE paid their women talent for the Saudi Arabia show, despite them being banned from performing and WWE being totally cool with that (and “proud and honored” to put on the show, as Michael Cole said tonight on Raw).
Jerry Lawler hinted at this last week on his podcast.
Cornette and King were talking about the controversy surrounding the event and how women cannot wrestle at the Greatest Royal Rumble. Cornette says WWE is making millions and millions off the event – more money than people think – so why not give the women a hefty payday while they stay at home? King responds, “I think that’s exactly what’s happening.”
Main Event Results
WWE taped these matches for Main Event before Raw:
– Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado defeated Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher
– Breezango defeated The Revival
