Brock Lesnar Returns at Hell in a Cell (Video)

As was rumored earlier today, Brock Lesnar made his “return” to WWE tonight, interfering in the Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman match and causing the referee to inexplicably call off a Hell in a Cell match with no resolution.

From the results:

Suddenly, BROCK LESNAR’S music hit and he came out along with Paul Heyman… Lesnar kicked the cell door and broke it open. Outside, Foley argued with Paul Heyman and Heyman sprayed him in the face with mace. Lesnar, who had a beard, picked up a piece of the broken table and smashed it on Strowman and Reigns. He hit an F5 on Strowman and an F5 on Reigns, dropping him on top of Strowman. The crowd chanted “one more time,” but Lesnar walked back down the ramp along with Heyman.

A new referee came down and he called off the match, as Strowman and Reigns lay in the ring. A couple of more refs came down to check on them, and the show went off the air…

What this means for Lesnar’s contract situation remains to be seen. He’s been training for a UFC fight against Daniel Cormier, which is rumored for early 2019, and he has re-entered the USADA testing pool, but the UFC fight is not official yet. This could be another short term deal/extension with WWE. More info will hopefully be available soon.
